Meet Dr. Dewsnup

Dr. Dewsnup graduated from Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, receiving his D.M.D. degree, magna cum laude in 2007.  He received Harvard’s Silver Medal Award for scholastic excellence and graduated 2nd in his class.  He was elected to membership in the prestigious dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  After graduation, he completed his endodontic residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2009.  In addition to becoming certified in endodontics, he also earned a Master’s degree in oral biology from the University of Florida.  Dr. Dewsnup worked as an endodontist in Prescott, Arizona from 2009 until 2016.  

In 2016, Dr. Dewsnup and his family moved to beautiful Southwest Florida to continue his work as an endodontist. He is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, committed to providing the finest endodontic care available anywhere.  Dr. Dewsnup has advanced experience in all phases of clinical endodontics, including diagnosis and microscopic surgical treatment of dental abscesses, cracked teeth, retreatments, post removals, pulpal regeneration, and repair of root resorption.  He has years of experience performing microscopic surgical apicoectomies.

When not at the office, Dr. Dewsnup, or Nate, as he prefers to be called, enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea and their five children. He is an avid sportsfan and loves to follow both college and professional sports.  He also loves the outdoors and enjoys running, biking and scuba diving.  He is actively involved in his church and speaks Korean thanks to a 2-year mission he served in South Korea.
