Meet Dr. Jernberg
Dr. Jernberg’s career in dentistry began at the University of Minnesota where he was involved in research with the oral biology department in projects involving oral cancer and HIV. This led Dr. Jernberg to pursue dental school at Midwestern University in Arizona where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following dental school, he returned to southern Minnesota and practiced general dentistry for seven years. Dr. Jernberg grew passionate about endodontics and decided to pursue residency. Dr. Jernberg graduated from residency and received his Endodontic certificate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is a board eligible endodontist.
Dr. Jernberg is excited to collaborate with the dentists of southwest Florida and has a passion for all aspects of clinical endodontics including initial endodontic therapy, retreatment therapy, use of cone beam, and endodontic microsurgery. Dr. Jernberg believes in the importance of relieving dental pain and treating patients with a kind, relaxing demeanor.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jernberg is a man of many hobbies including guitar, soccer, snorkeling, gardening, and cooking. He and his wife Laura love the outdoors and enjoy exploring southwest Florida.
